| Italian Baked Garlic Linguini | ||||||||||
| You Will Need: | ||||||||||
| 28 | ounce | Diced Tomatoes | ||||||||
| 15 | ounce | Tomato Sauce | ||||||||
| 6 | ounce | Linguini | ||||||||
| 4 | cloves | Fresh Garlic - Peeled, Smashed and chopped | ||||||||
| 1/2 | medium | Onion -cut in thin wedge slices | ||||||||
| 6 | each | Scallion Onions - Tops trimmed and onion cut in 3 pieces | ||||||||
| 1 | cup | Mozzarella Cheese | ||||||||
| 3 | TBSP | Grated Parmesan Cheese | ||||||||
| 2 | TBSP | Olive Oil | ||||||||
| 2 | TBSP | Butter | ||||||||
| 1 | tsp | Southern Seasoning | ||||||||
| 1 | tsp | Dill Weed | ||||||||
| 1/4 | tsp | Oregano Leaves | ||||||||
| 1/4 | tsp | Thyme Leaves | ||||||||
| Salt - to taste | ||||||||||
| To Cook: | ||||||||||
| Boil 6 ounces of Linguini until tender, drain and set aside. In a sauce pan over medium heat, | ||||||||||
| cook onions, scallions and garlic until half done. Add oregano, Thyme, Southern Seasoning | ||||||||||
| and Dill along with the tomatoes and tomato sauce. Salt to taste a heat at a heavy simmer | ||||||||||
| for about 5 minutes or with juice thickens slightly. | ||||||||||
| Place pre-cooked pasta in a baking dish large enough to be half full. Stir in the butter to keep | ||||||||||
| the pasta from sticking to the dish. Add a layer of Mozzarella Cheese, then a layer of the | ||||||||||
| tomato sauce mixture, adding a second layer of Mozzarella Cheese on top. Sprinkle grated | ||||||||||
| parmesan cheese on top and place in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. | ||||||||||
