| Quick Start Chinese | ||||||||||
| You Will Need: | ||||||||||
| 2 | TBSP | Soy Sauce | ||||||||
| 1 | Can | Cream of Celery Soup or Cream of Mushroom Soup | ||||||||
| 1/2 | can | Water | ||||||||
| 1 | ounce | Cashew Nuts | ||||||||
| Fresh grated Ginger or a few dashes of Ginger powder | ||||||||||
| 1/2 | tsp | Curry Powder | ||||||||
| 2 | TBSP | Butter | ||||||||
| Variations: water chestnuts, bean sprouts, mushrooms, snow peas, | ||||||||||
| broccoli, cauliflower, squash, etc. | ||||||||||
| To Finish: | ||||||||||
| Add the soy sauce, ginger, curry and cashews and stir into base along with variation veggies | ||||||||||
| Let simmer for 2 or 3 minutes then stir in soup and water. Stir mixture until soup isn't lumpy | ||||||||||
| and turn down heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until soup thickens a little. | ||||||||||
| Stir in butter and pasta and fold well into the mixture. Turn off heat and let stand for 3 or 4 | ||||||||||
| minutes before serving. | ||||||||||
| Add more soy and seasonings to taste. | ||||||||||
| This can be the main dish or a side dish. | ||||||||||
