Cooking for a special out of town guest. Then found out she was a vegetarian, oh well, more for us, pasta for her.

Had the big grill in action. Eighteen chicken halves just before taking them up.

Four Boston Butts and a pan of baked beans cooked along with meat. A peak under the lid and it is almost time to eat.

The smell of chicken drippings in a fire will make smoke not bother you. This cannot be denied, that right there looks good, I don't care who's looking at it.

Why do we take pictures of our food? Answer: `Cause we like it...even love it! Grilled salmon and shrimp, what could be better?

Yard bird on the half shell, what a beautiful site...and smell. Contract cooking, a goat with Original Mop & Sop, the other goat (not pictured) had Sycamore Red sauce.

The next best thing to Boston Butt, fresh pork shoulder hams, just a cut below the butt!! Finishing some spare ribs with the brisket still on. A labor of love see next photo.

The tongs are equal to Michelangelo's brush, never ate a painting, rather have the ribs. Memphis ribs, phew...These ribs could be eaten without teeth and was by one family member.

This is the way to eat Brats, boiled in beer, grilled and served with onion and green pepper along with grilled Jalapeno's. A twenty minute meal of Shrimp and Asparagus with angel hair pasta (see recipe page)

I know this ain't Louisiana, but this is as good as it gets in the upstate of South Carolina. I should say, Good as you get anywhere!

Never thought I'd see the day when 3 Red Roe Mullet would cost $21.50...but I did today!
There's two things in life I know I like to do...
Cooking for family and folks is something me and my brothers love to do. Watching folks eat and enjoy, that's the second thing I like!
